Who Truly Knows You?

Most of us have individuals in our lives that know “parts” of who we are. And, we have people who think they know who we are. Let’s not forget to give ourselves credit, we have our own ideas of who we are. I intentionally used “ideas” because yes, we even try to fool ourselves from time to time as to who we are. But, there is One who knows every single thing about each of us; “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” and loves us more than anyone else ever will. God is the One!

Things God Is Saying To You

💛 I see you clearly, just as you are.

💛 I see your circumstances in/out of your control.

💛 I see the way your heart is overwhelmed.

💛 I see you when you are afraid.

💛 I see you struggle to hope.

“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him.”
Romans 8:28-29 (TPT)

💜 Put your hope in me, I am always close.

💜 I will bring you through life’s storms, you can count on me.

💜 I will meet your needs.

💜 I am your high place when the waters rise around you.

💜 I am your security and shelter in the storm.

💜 I am for you, I am always for you.

When we are struggling to hope, we need to look beyond our own experiences and look to the fulfilled promises of God. Our HOPE is in God.

💜 • 💜 • 💜 • 💜 • 💜 • 💜 • 💜 • 💜 • 💜

When we are weary and need peace, God will give us perfect peace. He will wrap us in the comfort of His love, all we need to do is draw near to Him and rest in His steadiness.

Christmas Every Day

Tuesday, January 4th, 2022

Hello friends & followers—

I love listening to Christmas music, in fact I am still listening to Christmas songs on Pandora. I fell in love with two songs this season and wanted to share them with you. One is by “Unspoken” and the other by “Rend Collective.” They both have terrific messages and are vastly different from one another. The Unspoken song is about celebrating Christmas, well EVERYDAY!

The Rend Collective song is about a place I would love to visit and it’s a fun song to listen to and sing along with!

“Bring me everyone who is called by my name, the ones I created to experience my glory. I myself formed them to be who they are and made them for my glory.” …so that you, whom I have shaped and formed for myself, will proclaim my praise.”
— Isaiah 43:7,21 (TPT)

Brothers and Sisters, we were created by God for God’s purposes. God’s ways are better than ours. The Bible is filled with God’s instructions for our good. Do you realize that God knows everything there’s is to know about each of us. He know the first breath you took, your first laugh, the first time your cried, your fears, your dreams and your deepest desires. Mind blowing, isn’t it!

Emoji: Me

When we take the time to study God’s Word, seek His wisdom, listen to His instructions and heed His advice…He is filled with much JOY! All of these things are meant to teach us and help us grow, never to control us or box us in. We have the ability to make choices, and sometimes we stumble but it is God’s hands reaching out to pull us up again. If you are a parent, is there any limit to the love you have for your child(?). I am not a parent, but I have seen first hand the sacrifices and profoundness of love a parent has for a child, so multiple that times, say a zillion and you might have a sense of how much God loves His children. Try as we do, we cannot understand many things that God can do and does do, His vantage point looking at life, at the universe is beyond any of our understanding. Trust this, God only has good plans for you and I. He will never lead us astray and He will never leave us alone. Our relationship with God will only deepen as we spend more time with Him. Spending time tuning our heart with God’s heart, will elevated our thoughts.

Are you content in your relationship with God (?) Or would you like to venture into new revelations today (?).

“As high as the heavens are above the earth, so my ways and my thoughts are higher than yours.” —Isaiah 55:9 (TPT)

Killarney, a beautiful old town and a part of Co. Kerry, is situated in southern Ireland and is a popular tourist destination. The town is very clean and cozy, it is a home to a large number of attractions and is known as a center of sports, with plenty of facilities for soccer, golf, rowing, judo, tennis, and other kinds of sports. There is also a large national park near the town, known for its diverse flora and a large population of moose. * https://www.latlong.net/place/killarney-co-kerry-ireland-25502.html

Gratitude • Counting Blessings

Do You Count Your Blessings?

Today, I have been thinking about all the blessings God has given to me. I try to thank God often for them. I even share my blessings with others and through my conversation. I am so fortunate to work with other believers in the faith. I do not feel constrained by work policies to avoid certain topics (politics and religion) that are often frowned upon in the workplace. I present myself simply as ME, I am a Christian and I am a sinner, no way around that fact. I am good and not so good all rolled up together. I don’t pretend to be something I am not. I have a full range of emotions and sometimes take them to extremes. My language can become quite “unladylike” at times, what some might call “sailor or trucker” talk. I share this only because, I know I can do better and I am by no means proud of some of my antics but it’s the real me. *Please know that I mean no disrespect to sailors or truckers. I know that God loves me and most likely gets frustrated with me, just like any parent would be with their child. “Two steps forward, one step back” is still progress. I know and accept I am a work in progress. God does not ask or expect perfection from me or you. He knows we will always fall short, God desires that we thrive for truth, His truth.

“So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you.”
John 15:12 (TPT)

“For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.”
John 8:32 (TPT)

As I read my devotional for today, I read something that felt like my moral compass was being tested.

God speaking, “Do not be tempted by the mentality that you have been blessed with enough and that you should be content with what you have for fear that others will miss out. My kingdom works in a different way; there is more than enough for everyone. Keep feeding the hunger of your heart by partaking in what I offer you.”I Hear His Whisper For Women

God wants to bless everyone and having an abundance should not make you feel guilty. Thank God with gratitude in your heart and with thanksgiving in your voice. Press on in life and thirst for His truth in your life. The more time we spend with God and in His Word; the closer we will grow in our relationship with Him. Our understanding will increase as we gain wisdom and God will reveal more of Himself to us.

🔎 🙏🏻 🔍 🙏🏻🔎 🙏🏻 🔍 🙏🏻 🔎 🙏🏻 🔍 🙏🏻 🔎

“When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart, I will let you find me, says the Lord.”
Jeremiah 29:13-14a (NRSV)

“For everyone who listens with an open heart will receive progressively more revelation until he has more than enough.”
Matthew 13:12 (TPT)

New Year • New Word • New Look • 2022

New Home Page

“Because of their faith in him, their daily portion will be a Father’s help and deliverance from evil. This is true for all who turn to hide themselves in him!”
— Psalm 37:40 (TPT) —

Jesus is asking, “what do you need today?”

Jesus is saying, “I am your portion.”

All that we need or will ever need is in the Father. He is ever-present for each of us, we can call upon Him any time or place and He will answer. As I was reading my devotions for today these words jumped out at me, as if they had been specifically written just for me. “Don’t be discouraged by the news you hear or the questions that remain unanswered in your life.” I felt like God was speaking directly to my heart. My job requires me to listen and read news related stories in real time, this can be overwhelming at times. I often feel helpless in a world that seems to thrive on violence. In my personal life, I often wonder … is this it, is this the life I was meant to live out my days? Don’t misunderstand, God has blessed me abundantly, I’m not complaining…I just imagined my life being somewhat different. I have been fortunate to have found love and watched it grow; and change as well. Some things are meant only for a season and we are often better for it. God knows the future, I know God and I trust in His timing.

In closing, I would like to share a few more words I read today, I hope you know that they are meant for you as well.

God said, “drink deeply of my unchanging joy and feast on my lavish love. I am your portion today and always.”

MY ONE WORD FOR 2022

Hope is one of the Theological virtues. This means that a continual looking forward to the eternal world is not (as some modern people think) a form of escapism or wishful thinking, but one of the things a Christian is meant to do. It does not mean that we are to leave the present world as it is. If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next.

Happy New Year’s Day

Hello & Welcome —

I am choosing H • O • P • E for 2022. Each day is an opportunity to do something to share the love of God. During Christmas I heard a song that spoke to my heart and is now part of my outlook for the new year. It’s called, “Hope Has A Name” by Kristian Stanfill.

The Chorus:

Hope has a name, Emmanuel
The light of the world who broke through the darkness
All hail the king, Emmanuel
The light of the world, the glory of heaven

It’s a beautiful song and not just something to sing or proclaim at Christmas, it’s for every day of the year.

H • O • P • E

The Bible passage below is one that I have found myself clinging to from time to time in my life. This mortal life we live here on earth is filled with many challenges. Some of our challenges and obstacles have answers we understand, while others may remain unknown for a season(s). Placing our HOPE is God is the answer, no matter the question or the answer. God is the Creator of all things, God only wants GOOD for each of us, His children. Seek Him daily.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

a time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to break down, and a time to build up;

a time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

a time to seek, and a time to lose;

a time to keep, and a time to throw away;

a time to tear, and a time to sew;

a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

a time to love, and a time to hate;

a time for war, and a time for peace.

— Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NRSV)

Hold To A Vision

The God of all creation is the same God we serve today. He remains the same, He is constant and nothing can change is character. His promises are true and He will never let you down.

Do you remember when you first heard God calling you?

Do you need to realign yourself and your heart with His?

Have the winds of change tossed you to and fro?

Lean into God’s love today, His plumb line of mercy will bring everything back into alignment.

Just as the words in Ecclesiastes tells us, season come and go, life is filled with unknowns, remember nothing is a mystery to God. Life is filled with distractions, listen for the voice of God and return to the foundation of who you are, you are a beloved child of God. You will find peace in God’s Word and you will see goodness all around you when your eyes are focused on Him.

“When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.” ~Proverbs 29:18 (TPT)

“Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”

“But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” ~Luke 6:35-36 (NRSV)

A Bit of Wisdom by C.S.Lewis

Friends, thank you for your support. Some of you have been with me since the beginning of this journey other only for a few hours; EACH of you matter to me and I am so appreciative. In the past eight years, I have gained experience and hopefully grown as a writer. I pray that God continues to work through me to reach His children and share His Love with the world.

God Bless you, one and all!
