MENTORING MOMENTS – BECOMING A PEACEMAKER
Thursday, April 7th, 2022
Today is not my typical Thursday, I would normally be at work at this time of day. I woke not feeling my normal “get-up-and-go” kind of energy. I considered just pushing through “whatever” it was that was afflicting me; but decided some self-care was the answer. It is important, no it is vital that we care for ourselves as much as we care for others.
So, I was finally able to get out of bed and made it to my living room and as I sat and took in my surrounds…the idea for this post hit me. The Holy Spirit spoke to me, reminding me of caring for ourselves is so important. The picture below is my current view, it is where I sit to do most of my blog posts.

Sorry about the feet in the photo, but I wanted to share with you the things I surround myself with to remind myself of the joys in my life.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. My heart is full, full of beautiful things and beautiful people. God is indeed GOOD ALL THE TIME. ~Peace yo you my friends, family, followers and visitors. 🙏🏻💚🌻

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” So Mordecai went away and carried out all of Esther’s instructions.” ~Esther 4:14

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” ~Colossians 3:23-15

Jesus Arrested
“While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? 53 Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.”
