A Bit of Wisdom by C.S.Lewis • Bible Truths

Tuesday. April 19th, 2022

Hello Beautiful Friends,

Today, I would like to share some of my favorite quotes from C.S.Lewis. I have long enjoyed his books, writings and his faith journey. I have included some biblical passages with the quotes. I hope you find them to be encouraging as you travel your faith journey. Have a terrific day! May the Lord bless you and keep you ~ Peace be with you!

“The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.”

~C. S.Lewis

Boosting About Tomorrow

“Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
—James 4:13-17 (NIV)

“Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.”

~C. S. Lewis

A psalm of David

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” —Psalm 143:8 (NIV)

“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”

~C. S. Lewis

God’ Mercy and Israel’s Unfaithfulness

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”
—Isaiah 43:18-19a (NIV)

Treasures In Heaven

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” —Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV)

“You must ask for God’s help. Even when you have done so, it may seem to you for a long time that no help, or less help than you need, is being given. Never mind. After each failure, ask forgiveness, pick yourself up, and try again. Very often what God first helps us towards is not the virtue itself but just this power of always trying again.”

~C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

A psalm of David

“But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.” —Psalm 31:14-15a (NIV)

Thanks For Their Gifts

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” —Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

God’s Covenant With Noah

“Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
—Genesis 9:16-17 (NIV)

Render to Caesar • Tax Day 2022

If you live in the United States, today marks the deadline to file federal and state taxes. It’s a day that some look forward to because it has turned into a sort of payday, while others dread it because it is a day to pay taxes. There are many reasons why you may owe taxes. Here are the five most common reasons why people owe taxes.

  1. Too little withheld from their pay
    • You can give yourself a raise just by changing your Form W-4 with your employer.
    • However, if you do that without careful planning, you might be setting yourself up for an unpleasant year-end surprise.
  2. Extra income not subject to withholding
    • If you sell stock, for example, you may have more income than usual – and a bigger tax bill. Even unemployment benefits can increase your tax bill.
  3. Self-employment tax
  4. Difficulty making quarterly estimated taxes
    • If you have significant non-wage income, you generally make quarterly estimated payments.
    • However, that’s easier said than done, especially when people feel like they are in financial survival mode most of the time.
  5. Changes in your tax return
    • The kids grow up and move out, and suddenly you aren’t claiming them as dependents.
    • You refinance your home at a lower interest rate. That’s great, but your mortgage interest deduction may have been cut in half.
    • Even changes in the tax code can make a difference in your tax bill. If you don’t adjust your withholding when things change, you may owe money.

What To Do If You Owe Taxes

  • Refigure your paycheck withholding
  • Tax withholding from other income
  • Plan for tax on your small business
  • Refigure your tax liability and withholding as needed

“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil — and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.”

~Hebrews 2:14-15 NIV
• Why Did Jesus Have To Die •

Jesus died to achieve eternal victory over death through His resurrection!

Bible Reading • John 20:11-18

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

“Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot. They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?” “They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”). Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.”

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

“On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.”

Discussion Questions

  1. Through the Bible we read of people who were resurrected by God’s prophets. But Jesus is the only One who raised Himself from the dead without intervention of any other person. What does this tell us about Jesus?
    • This tells me that Jesus does not need us, He wants us to be with Him. Jesus is the only way to the Father, Jesus defeated death and forever hold victory over sin. Jesus died so that we will not suffer spiritual death. Jesus, is God in human form. Jesus, like the Father and the Holy Spirit have always been and will always be . . . Today, Tomorrow and Forevermore.
  2. Jesus appears to Mary at the tomb and reveals Himself by saying her name. How have you personally experienced Jesus’ love towards you?
    • Indeed, Jesus’ love is something I see and experience on a daily basis. The kindness of a stranger, a message from a friend at just the moment I need a friend. Jesus makes a way when I feel as if there’s no way. Trust in the small still voice.
  3. How does Jesus’ resurrection victory compel you to love others in your life?
    • The actions of love and expressions of love are the things that matter in this world. How we treat not just strangers, but our friends and families as well. What Jesus accomplished on resurrection Sunday is not just something to be talked about during this season we call Lent; the celebration is never-ending. I’m not saying that bad days will never again seep into our lives. They will undoubtedly, but God has overcome the world and we rejoice knowing God is in control.
    • This season of Lent has been very special to me, I was able to merge a number of my passions into a single project that has taken me through nearly that last fifty days.
      • I was able to daily post on this blog site
      • I was able to read a Lenten devotional book
      • I studied the Bible throughout the Old and New Testament
      • I was free to share my faith without cause of retaliation or fear
      • I have listened to hours of musical content and shared them through this space on WordPress.
    • I have been blessed with supportive friends and family; and my beautiful community of friends on WordPress.

“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”
Matthew 28:5-6 (NIV)

Don’t let the celebration end, friends, ~Jesus has risen! And, because He lives, we can face tomorrow, and the day after that, with hope.

Lent 2022 • Week Seven Review

Holy Saturday, April 16th, 2022

Bible Reading • John 18:33 – 19:30

Jesus Before Pilate (John 18:33-40)

“Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?” “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?” Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” “What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him. But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?” They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising.”

Jesus Sentenced to Be Crucified (John 19:1-16a)

“Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face. Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.” When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!” As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!” But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.” The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.” When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, and he went back inside the palace. “Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer. “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?” Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.” When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement (which in Aramaic is Gabbatha). It was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about noon. “Here is your king,” Pilate said to the Jews. But they shouted, “Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!” “Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked. “We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered. Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.”

The Crucifixion of Jesus (19:16b-27)

“So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified him, and with him two others —one on each side and Jesus in the middle. Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews . Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.” Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.” So this is what the soldiers did. Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.”

The Death of Jesus (John 19:28-30)

“Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

Week Seven Song
By: Edward Perroner (1780)
All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name
All hail the power of Jesus' name!
Let angels prostrate fall.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all!
O seed of Israel's chosen race
now ransomed from the fall,
hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all.
Hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all!
Let every tongue and every tribe
responsive to his call,
to him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all.
To him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all!
Oh, that with all the sacred throng
we at his feet may fall!
We'll join the everlasting song
and crown him Lord of all.
We'll join the everlasting song
and crown him Lord of all.

“At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.”

~Hebrews 2:8b – 9a (ESV)

Pondering Thoughts

Friends, as we pause on this Holy Saturday of Lent, we like the disciples are reeling over the death of Jesus. Horrified by the way our Jesus was treated. Do we dare ask ourselves where we would have been and how we would have reacted or even acted. Of all the characters at play throughout this Passover weekend so long ago, would I have been like . . .

  • Judas, the betrayer
  • Peter, the denier
  • Mary the sister of the mother of Jesus
  • Mary Magdalene
  • John, the disciple whom Jesus loved
  • The Chief Priests
  • Teachers of the Law

The presence of the chief priests is recorded by Matthew, Mark, and John, Luke making no reference to them. Matthew, Mark, and Luke refer to the scribes, elders, or rulers, comprising the Sanhedrin, while John ignores their presence.

Matthew, Mark, and Luke draw special attention to the centurion in charge of the carrying out of the crucifixion, and they give some account of how he was impressed in the presence of the Crucified.

As Luke records, there were many other women, but these stand prominently out, as having been most closely associated with Him.

In John we see two pairs, the unnamed women, the mother of the Lord and her sister; and the two women who are named, Mary of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

*See reference below:https://www.christianity.com/

“Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.” (John 19:25)

“A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him.” (Luke 23:27)

“But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.” (Luke 23:49)

“In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him.” (Matthew 27:41)

“In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves. ‘He saved others,’ they said, ‘but he can’t save himself!'” (Mark 15:13)

According to Matthew he said, “Surely he was the Son of God” (Matthew 27:54)

According to Mark, “Surely this Man was the Son of God” (Mark 15:39)

According to Luke, “Surely this was a righteous Man” (Luke 23:47)

Thank you for joining me on this Lenten journey. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for the culmination of Holy Week. May you be surrounded by the love of God, today and for always. 🛐 💟 ✝️ ~Peace

Jesus Sentenced to Be Crucified

“Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.”

The Crucifixion of Jesus

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Reflection

On this Good Friday, the last Friday of Lent think about spending some time alone in the silence, sitting or standing before the cross. The cross does not need to be real, in your mind visualize the cross that Jesus carried and was nailed to. I know this will be difficult to imagine and even more difficult to allow yourself to feel the moment. Allow the spectacle of the cross to imprint on your soul the weight of Jesus’ love. Breathe, don’t rush, breathe, pause and breathe. Witness your own sins being heaped upon Jesus and allow yourself to grieve this heinous moment in history. Say a simple prayer asking God to hold you in His loving embrace.

Now, try rereading today’s scripture and devotional, pausing wherever you feel the need to respond with sorrow, repentance, adoration and tears.

Everything Jesus did was LOVE.

  • Every blow He didn’t reciprocate was LOVE.
  • Every moment He stood naked and mocked was LOVE.
  • Every step towards Golgotha/Skulls was LOVE.
  • Every gasping breath was LOVE.
  • Every nanosecond from the kiss in the garden to the cessation of His heartbeat . . . LOVE.

Friends, we knew this weekend was coming, some are eager for the celebration of Sunday and rightly so. Friday and Saturday leading up to Easter Sunday are difficult to read about and all the more to immerse ourselves into the story. However you choose to reflect on this weekend, my prayer is that we do not rush through the parts that are difficult, instead seek time with God. Share your hearts desires with the one who created you, the one who loves you . . . Indeed, Jesus loved us so much He took our sins upon himself, the one who had never sinned all because of His great LOVE. I love you my brothers and sisters, may the peace of God fill you and sustain you until we are all together with our Lord in Heaven.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
— Luke 23:34 (NIV) —

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
— Colossians 3:13-14 (NIV) —

Bible Reading • Luke 23:32-34

The Crucifixion of Jesus

“Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.”

We read in these three verses that Jesus forgave His executioners and prayed to His Father for their absolution. Jesus looked at the men who nailed Him to the cross with compassion, with love and He spoke forgiveness to them and prayed for them. Jesus did exactly what He had been teaching throughout His ministry, love one another.

I read something recently that has had an unsettling affect on me. I read a post on Meta, formerly called Facebook by someone I follow. It troubled me so much that I actually ask others I know and respect, to read it as well. Some of my them were eager to share their thoughts, while one did not respond and another responded only with a question directed back at me. All of these responses and even the non-response one were valuable to me. At first, When I read the post I was very confused and kind of angry that someone believed a truth of mine to be a metaphor as not being true or at least not perceived true in real life. I simply felt very uneasy and kind of agitated. I have since come to the conclusion that my unsettling was in fact a conviction of my theology, a foundation stone of my Christian faith. This all came together after reading my Lenten devotional for today. It’s not an issue of right or wrong, real or metaphorical, it’s my own personal belief; and it’s important to me not to compromise it. *I’ll share the quote below.

During these last few days of Lent is it easy to fast forward over the ugliness and pain of the crucifixion and go straight to Sunday morning and the stone rolled away, singing “He Lives!” I think we need to pause, and allow ourselves to experience it all, the bad and the good. The good is Great because the bad is so Ugly. Our salvation came at a price and it deserves our attention and our grief that such a price was needed and freely given. It’s not pretty but was necessary. I have a friend who refuses to watch the movie, “The Passion of Christ” due to the violence and painful cinematography; but can you even imagine what Jesus’ mother endured. The movie is not for entertainment value, rather it is a visual display of the depths of Jesus’ love for us.

I am a firm and faithful believer in the “LOVE” of Jesus and yes it’s beautiful, calming and reassuring. Jesus’ love is life-giving in a world that is so depleted of such a needed commodity. The book I chose to read during Lent is called, “Uncovering the Love of Jesus.” and it does not gloss over the parts that are uncomfortable. Being a Christian is not for the faint of heart, we are warriors for Christ. I love a good sermon that gives me the “feels.” But I also need the tough sermons that teach truth, those Bible stories that are messy and show the glory of God working in and through lives of ordinary people.

I’ve heard it said, there’s a church out there for everyone and I believe that. It certainly explains all the different denominations, church practices and the many traditions that are utilized.

I am saying for me, the crucifixion of Jesus has to be part of the Easter story, and as much as I am not looking forward to Friday, I know Sunday is coming! Praise Be To God!

I respect your views and faith practices whether you agree or disagree with my ever grow theology. I will continue to read, study, learn and write more about the God I serve, He loves me though I am not deserving and He saved me not because I’m worth but because He loves me. And, He loves you too.

The Stoning of Stephen

“When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.”

“Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.” There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Oftentimes we do things we’re not proud of, and these sins cause us to hide in secret. But Jesus welcomes us to shed the shame and guilt and enter into His presence with Him. Today, confess those sins that stand between you and fellowship with God, and celebrate His great love that goes above and beyond anything we can ask for or imagine.

As you read today’s scripture verses did anything “jump” out for you? There’s certainly a lot to unpack in these twelve verses surrounding the crucifixion of Jesus.

  • We know the place of the crucifixion was called the “Skull.”
  • We read that two criminals were also being crucified along with Jesus.
  • We know Jesus was in the middle of the two men.
  • We know the men carrying out the sentencing of the crucifixion took Jesus’ clothes, divided them and cast lots.
  • We know the rulers “sneered” at Jesus.
  • We know the soldiers mocked Jesus.
  • We know one of the criminals hurled “insults” at Jesus and the other criminal rebuked him for saying them.
  • We know the criminal who rebuked the other made a statement to Jesus saying, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
  • We know that Jesus responded to the criminals statement by saying, Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

The one that stood out to me was the criminal who ask Jesus to remember him when Jesus came into His kingdom.

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” ~Luke 23:42

What I have deducted from the criminals statement is that he must have been familiar with the “fear of God” statement and that he thought/believed that Jesus was at the very least a man of God because of his use of the word “kingdom” and going to it after death. And, the criminal may have actually believe who Jesus had said He is the Son of God. I also believe that Jesus has the power to save anyone, even a convicted criminal. The saving that Jesus offers is not deliverance from the penalties we must face with our human bodies; not referring to sin but crimes/breaking man’s laws. No Jesus saves our spirit, so our souls will live forever in Heaven with Him. Our created beings created by God, Himself.

📕📘📗📙📖📙📗📘📕

My research into the biblical accounts of the two criminals and their interactions with Jesus, revealed that both criminals joined in with the unruly crowd at mocking Jesus. The reasons why one of them changed their tone towards Jesus is unknown but nonetheless, he in fact ask that Jesus remember him. The why we don’t know, probably never will; we do know that Jesus’s response to the criminal is all about what Jesus had been teaching: love, mercy, grace and hope. The criminal did not deserve any of this gifts; nether do you and I. It is not about deserving . . . It’s about the love of Jesus.

“Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.”

“They crucified two rebels with him, one on his right and one on his left. Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.”

~Mark 15:27,32 NIV

“Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
